Horizontal splitting machine SL 280
A completely automated machine that halves uncut or sawn pieces, to produce small granite blocks and slabs. It was conceived to avoid the sawing process.
Able to deal with a maximum width of 28cm and length of 35cm, the height must be between 12cm to 20cm.
The material is placed on a conveyor system and is then transported to be processed automatically at a splitting rate of between 3 to 5 seconds per piece.
This machine splits horizontally with a force of up to 50 tonnes.
